“Everlasting Love” Returns March 7
Annual Notre Dame School fundraiser supports affordable tuition and strengthens student programs

Notre Dame School, a PS-3 through eighth-grade classical Catholic liberal arts school, will host its annual North Stars Gala fundraiser, Everlasting Love, on Saturday, March 7, at the Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook. The event welcomes school families, parishioners, and community members to support students and the school’s mission.
The Gala’s $225,000 goal helps close the gap between tuition and the true cost of educating each student—supporting core operating expenses so tuition can remain more affordable for families. Funds raised beyond operating needs support students, classroom and enrichment programs, teacher development, school supplies, and building upgrades.
The evening will include a silent and live auction, a paddle raise, and a celebration of eighth-graders, with live entertainment by Chicago-based Chris Tiritilli & Company.
A student-driven raffle will also support the Gala’s fundraising goals. If the students reach the $25,000 goal, they’ll earn the chance to “Dunk Father Mark,” their pastor, later this school year. Students track progress through a visual display at school. Each month, the class that sells the most raffle tickets also wins a pizza party.
“The North Stars Gala is more than a fundraiser—it’s a night our community unites to strengthen the mission of Notre Dame School and directly support our students,” said Principal Amanda Paul. “We’re grateful for every guest, sponsor, volunteer, and donor who makes the evening possible.”
This year’s theme, Everlasting Love, is inspired by Jeremiah 31:3: “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” The theme reflects God’s enduring love, the love families have for their children, and the school’s commitment to instilling a lifelong love for learning. The event’s patron saint is Thérèse of Lisieux, known for her “Little Way” of love and trust.
The Gala runs from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Cocktail attire is requested.
