Education:
Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology and Masters of Education in Elementary Education 

Additional certifications:
I worked as an Assistant Teacher for 2.5 years in Elmhurst while pursuing my Masters. I also worked as a Behavior Therapist for about two years after graduating with my Bachelors. 

Family highlights:
I grew up in California; my family is still there. I came to the Chicago area about five years ago. I am the only child in my family. I am also getting married this upcoming June!

The impact of faith:
My faith allows me to create a wonderful environment for my students to learn and feel safe. In my classroom I model my faith through prayers and self reflections. I also celebrate the gifts and wonders that God has given us.

Free times and pastimes:
I love reading during my free time as well as spending time with my family/friends, and with my cat Lucii!
