Enrollment at Notre Dame School at the Active Parishioner rate sets the expectation that each family contributes time, talent and treasure toward the good of the parish and school.
Time and Talent
Parent involvement is a very important aspect of Notre Dame Parish. We truly value your time and talent above any treasure. Donating time and talent provides a positive example for our children, promotes a sense of community, and helps Notre Dame offer quality programs for students and families.
A sign-up containing all of the school and parish volunteer opportunities will be distributed to families in the Spring. Our goal is 100% participation.
The average cost to educate a student at Notre Dame is estimated to be over $9,000. In order to keep tuition rates low, the tuition gap is filled with the help of the parish subsidy as well as fundraising efforts throughout the school year.
The parish invests approximately $200,000 toward the educational needs of our school. The suggested minimum contribution to the parish is only $25/week (or $100/month, or $1200/year). We recommend that Active Parishioner families sign up online via E-Giving.
A tuition agreement will be distributed prior to the start of the school year asking new school families to commit to being Active Parishioners of Notre Dame Parish. Those that wish to to be considered a Non-Active Family or Non-Parishioner Family will be asked to indicate that as well.
Additional Costs for Kindergarten through 8th grade
The student fee covers the costs related to curriculum, technology and materials. Fees related to extracurriculars, athletics and the 1:1 laptop program are not included.
The Family Pledge is a tax-deductible donation to the school. The pledge helps fill the gap between tuition and the full cost to educate. Each family is expected to contribute a minimum amount of $700. The pledge will be deducted monthly through your FACTS account. Families are encouraged to participate in other fundraising efforts throughout the year as well.

Tuition Transfer Program
Any student in grades 1 – 7 who transfer from any public, private, charter or home school are eligible to receive a transfer discount of $1000 the first year and $500 in year 2. Students transferring from another Catholic school in the Diocese of Joliet or surrounding diocese are not eligible for the program.
